Express Entry Canada is the fastest way by which skilled professionals across the world wishing to move to Canada to become Permanent residents in a few months. Set-up as one of the most popular immigration systems internationally, it was introduced in 2015 and since then it has become the main driver of economic immigration to Canada. It is managed by IRCC, also known as Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, which deals with applications obtained via federal immigration programs of Canada.
At first, the candidates should obtain an ECS or Educational Credential Assessment from one of the respective Assessing Authorities. Then, an applicant should choose an Occupation as per the National Occupation Classification list as well as skill level such as B, A, O, etc. Then candidates submit their Express Entry Profile and ranked as per the points system. Candidates with highest rankings are then welcomed by the CIC or Citizenship and Immigration Canada to apply for permanent residency. When applied, candidates’ applications are scored as per the program’s point-based Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Most of the applications obtained are processed within six months. Apart from this, candidates should also register with Job Bank via Job Match Account and search for work. This procedure enhances the chances of the candidate planning to build a successful career in Canada.
To be selected under the FSW or Federal Skilled Worker Program, applicants who have sufficient work experience and language proficiency must gather a minimum of 67 points on the skilled worker selection grid, which assigns points for language, education, age, work experience, and adaptability.
