Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program

The Province operates several immigration streams divided mainly into four categories.

  • International Education Stream (IES)

Skilled Workers in Manitoba (SWM)

This particular category is designed for the skilled professionals who have already worked in Manitoba or received offer of employment from the employer of Manitoba.

Skilled Worker Overseas (SWO)

This category target applicants having work experience in Manitoba’s In-Demand occupations.

 International Education System Stream

The International Education Stream targets applicants graduated from designated post-secondary institutions located in Manitoba.


  • Manitoba Career Employment Pathway 
  • Manitoba Graduate Internship Pathway
  • Manitoba Student Entrepreneur Pathway


Business Investor Stream

This particular stream operates mainly two streams to target applicants with business management experience who wish to launch a new business in the province.


  • Manitoba Entrepreneur Pathway
  • Manitoba Farm Investor Pathway


Manitoba In- Demand Occupations

Most of the streams managed by Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program aims to select applicants having work experience in one of the province’s in demand occupation from the list.

Please note, French speakers are exempt from this requirement.
