Types of Schengen Visas

• Uniform Schengen Visas (USV) – This visa allows you to reside in one of the Schengen countries for a maximum period of 90 days. The USV applies to all the categories including ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’, depending upon the purpose of travel.
• Limited territorial validity visas (LTV) – This type of visa permits you to travel only in the Schengen member state that has actually issued the visa. The LTV is only limited to a specific country and is invalid for any other Schengen state.
• National Visa – This visa is granted to the people who are planning to study, work or reside permanently in any of the Schengen countries. The candidates looking forward to stay for a certain period of time or for a sole purpose get the single entry type of this visa.
