Ontario Human Capital Stream

The Ontario Human Capital category handles multiple streams to target applicants having relevant work experience as per the province requirements to join the labor force.

• Human Capital Priorities – Express Entry
• French-Speaking Skilled Worker – Express Entry
• Skilled Trades – Express Entry
• Expression of Interest (EOI) system for OINP
• Masters Graduate
• PhD Graduate

Human Capital Priorities Stream – Express Entry

To apply for a Canada PR application through OINP, the applicant must meet the eligibility criteria under one of the economic immigration program either the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Canadian Experience Class.

OINP selects the applicants from the Express Entry pool based on the below mentioned criteria.

• Meet the minimum requirement of CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) in the Express Entry Pool
• Meet the eligibility criteria of Human Capital Priorities Stream as mentioned below

Selected applicants by OINP will receive an NOI (Notification of Interest) to apply the OINP application online within 45 calendar days to get the Nomination letter.

After receiving the Nomination letter, 600 additional points will be added to applicant’s CRS points in the Express Entry.

Eligibility Requirements

Meet the eligibility requirements for one of the economic immigration programs – Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

Applicants applying under FSWP must meet the basic eligibility of 67 points criteria.

• Meet the particular stream’s work experience requirements.
• Having an Educational Credential Report from a designated authority of Canada.
• Meet the minimum language proficiency level of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 or above in all four components.
• Intend to live and work in Ontario and submit the required document by mentioning the ties.
• Meet the minimum CRS requirement in the Express Entry Pool as per the streams requirement.
• Maintain sufficient proof of funds to cover your initial settlement cost in Canada.
• It’s a must to maintain a living status in Ontario if any applicant is applying from Ontario.

OINP Tech Draws

OINP Tech Draws invite applications having an active Express Entry profile, qualify under Human Capital Priorities Stream and have work experience in one of the following occupations.

• Data Scientists (NOC 21211)
• Software engineers and designers (NOC 21231)
• Computer systems developers and programmers (NOC 21230)
• Software developers and programmers (NOC 21232)
• Web developers and programmers (NOC 21234)
• Web designers (NOC 21233)
• Database analysts and data administrators (NOC 21223)
• Computer and information systems managers (NOC 20012)
• Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers (NOC 21311)

Ontario Employer Job Code

The streams under Ontario Employer Job Code provide immigration pathway to the applicants having valid job offers from an Ontario employer.

• Foreign Worker
• International Student with a Job Offer
• In-Demand Skills

Ontario Entrepreneur

This stream is mainly designed for the entrepreneurs to launch new business projects in Ontario. In case the projects are successful the applicants involved in the projects will get nominated to apply for a Canada Permanent Residence visa.
